Your environment matters. You want a positive environment that encourages focus, discipline and hard work. It should stimulate creativity and inspire you, making you feel good about yourself and what you’re doing, and it should be aspirational. For some, this will be a quiet space, for others, it will bustling. Your perfect view may be lakes and trees or a metropolis skyline. Every year I take at least two working retreats, or ‘work-ations’ as one of my Mastermind members calls them. In fact, I’m currently writing this sat in a little cafe-bar overlooking a small private beach in Crete. This is the perfect working environment for me and this project. Find what works for you.
The people around you matter too. They can make the journey to success quicker and easier, or much slower and more painful. The right people support you, cheer you and hold you accountable. They believe in you but also challenge you.
