Where to turn for advice and what you should be implementing

When you’re running a six-figure business it can be hard knowing where to turn for advice and, more importantly, what you should be implementing. There is so much information out there. 
 
Before you listen to anyone you need to ask yourself two questions: 
 
 • Is this person making sense? Does it sound true, honest, insightful, and realistic – or does it sound fanciful, like empty promises, hollow dreams, magic pills and nonsense?  
 • Does this person have, or sound like they have, your best interests at heart? Do they sound completely self-serving – like they're making promises they can't live up to – or do they sound like they really want you to succeed, to know this information and give you great value? 
 
There’s also plenty of poor information out there that’s irrelevant and just plain nonsense.  
 
 • The irrelevant information might be valuable but not useful to your business. For example, reading a book about creating a billion-dollar business while you’re running your small business isn’t going to be very helpful (for now, at least 😊). 
 • And the nonsense? Some so-called experts pass on conventional wisdom with no understanding.
