I’m irritated!!
I'm irritated by the number of posts I'm seeing suggesting that ‘the hustle’ is all bad.
For those who don't know, the hustle is when you step up and put extra time and energy into achieving a result that you really want.
We just kicked off a 28-day Sales Challenge. Trust me, those guys are hustling. They're hustling to achieve a result they want to get.
They’re building the business they want.
I think these blanket posts around hustle are unhelpful because they don’t support these guys when they're working hard to achieve the business they want to build.
It also doesn't support the business owners who aren't hustling enough and aren’t getting the result they want.
I'm not suggesting we hustle all the time, but it has a time and place. And as a business owner, you’ll be required to hustle along the way in order to achieve results.
But it has to be balanced.
With additional rest. With additional quiet time. With additional play and joy.
…. the hustle doesn't feel quite like a hustle when you're enjoying it, which is what we aim to do with the Sales Challenge.
The hustle is not all bad. The hustle has its place.
