Whether or not you are a fan of Star Trek, you are probably aware of the stark differences between Kirk and Spock. One is logical, scientific and exact. The other is a horny, emotionally fuelled rebel. Clearly, Spock should have been in charge.
Throughout the series of programmes and films, Spock’s lack of emotion is constantly referred to as a defect but in this episode, I champion Spock as Captain and Kirk as his Number Two.
