So, just a little mini rant today about people not turning up for scheduled calls.
I've seen this a lot over the last few weeks and I get that things are starting to open up, things are starting to move, people are busy…
But my partner, George - I'll spare you the details, but he basically had an accident that involved a carabiner hook being plummeted into the back of his head which cause him a major head injury.
He could barely see. He managed to call himself an ambulance, and from the ambulance, managed to call me to let me know that he was on his way to hospital and probably wouldn't be home for dinner.
If he can manage that with a major head injury on his way to hospital, I think it's fair to expect people to send you a text message or let you know that they can't make the scheduled call.
I understand that everyone is busy, but we need to have a little bit more respect, I believe, for other people's time.
So, if you cannot make a call with somebody, let them know - they might want to do something else with that time. Thank you.
