How are you held accountable?

Being held accountable for your goals increases your chances of success to 95%.   

At Bigger Brighter Bolder we hold our members accountable for their goals in many ways, through our monthly sessions, board meetings, check-in calls and our wonderful goal setting system.   

If you aren’t yet lucky enough to be part of a business community that keeps you accountable for achieving your goals, here are some things that you can do to keep yourself accountable:  

• First of all, make sure you are setting the right goals (link to gs workbook) for what you want to achieve.   

• Set realistic and achievable goals. Break them down into smaller more manageable tasks. This will make the overall goal seem less overwhelming and make it easier to keep track of your progress.   
• Keep track of your progress. This could be in a notebook or a spreadsheet, this will help you see how far you’ve come, and it’s a good reminder of what you’ve got left to achieve your goal.   
• Make a plan and stick to it. Set aside time each week to check in and make sure that you are focusing on the right activities that will help you achieve your goals  
• Create a vision board. Put it somewhere that you will see it every single day, as a reminder of what you are going to achieve.   
• Get support from your friends and family. Surround yourself with the right people that are going to motivate you and cheer you on with these goals.   

• Celebrate the small wins. This can help to keep you motivated, build momentum and give you the confidence that you can achieve your goals!
