What do you do when your sales are drying up?

This is a common problem that many business owners will face.  

If new work and clients aren’t coming in, you need to spend some time re-evaluating your sales activity. 

Here are some things to consider.   

  • Are you spending enough time on sales? Let’s say, for example, you’re spending an hour a day on sales but not getting results. You need to spend more time focusing on your sales activity.  
  • Are you targeting clients who fit within your niche?   

  • Create a sales target checklist. This can be a great reference point if you don’t know where to start with sales. Your list might include networking groups, upselling to your current clients, past clients, referral partners, etc.  
  • At the end of each day write down 4 sales successes. This may not be in results but perhaps in showing up for the activity. If you have to work hard for these, great! You’re training your unconscious mind to get on board.
