With all the stresses, pressures and workload of running your own business, it’s no surprise that many suffer from burnout or fear burning out.
Having gone through this myself, I learnt many things about energy management and expenditure and whilst my situation may not be the same for everyone, here’s what I’ve learned.
– working hard didn’t cause my fatigue
– stress did
Stress, worry and anxiety burn through energy whilst producing little productive output. Taking action and and working hard may tire you physically, but they are unlikely to be the cause of your burnout.
Manage the stressors and pressures in your business whilst mastering your own energy expenditure and stress levels.
